The Holy Days

In the upcoming weeks, we will be adding material for all the principal Christian Seasons and Holy Days—Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Easter and Pentecost. By so doing, we hope to provide a continually available resource for information and insights about how Christians observe a calendar of faith.

In the interim, we offer below material on the seasons of Easter and Pentecost, times of transformational joy celebrating the resurrection of Christ and the sustaining presence of the Holy Spirit.

Easter

He is Risen! Celebrating the Glory of Easter
Living the promise of Christ's resurrection.
Essays, reflections, journaling suggestions and a 50-day calendar to guide you through this season of joy.

Pentecost

The Season of Pentecost
On the day of Pentecost, the promised gift of the Holy Spirit was given to the Church (the small Christian faith)…the Holy Spirit has powered the Church all these two thousand years, kept it going, fed us, strengthened us, supernaturally.
