For Medical Professionals
Gracious God, you have
filled me with compassion for those who suffer in body and mind, and you have
given me skills to minister to them with your healing power. Give me the wisdom,
patience, and understanding to ease human pain with my words and touch. Remind
me that each person I care for is made in your image and is deserving of the
same love and honor I would give to you. When my ministry is complete, O God,
may each patient feel your touch through me, may their minds feel relieved of
anxiety, and may their souls feel stroked by Divine Love.
